When I look into the eyes of a community dog, I see more than just an animal on the street — I see resilience, trust, and a silent plea for compassion. These dogs are not strays; they are part of our neighborhoods, our lives, and our shared humanity. Yet too often, they are left hungry, sick, or forgotten.

Karma Foundation was born out of a simple but powerful belief: every life deserves dignity and care. What began as feeding a few dogs in my locality has grown into a mission to provide food, medical care, sterilization, and shelter for hundreds of community animals across Kolkata. Each meal served, each wound healed, and each life saved is a reminder that kindness can transform suffering into hope.

Our vision is to create a safe haven — a shelter and hospital where no community dog is turned away, where the old and infirm find peace, and where the injured find healing. This is not charity; it is our responsibility as humans to stand beside those who cannot speak for themselves.
